The Austin Campus is Apple's billion-dollar bet on Texas: a 133-acre site announced in 2018 and opened in 2022, three miles from the original Riata Vista Circle operations center. Built to grow toward 15,000 people, it stands as Apple's largest presence outside Cupertino — complete with its own hotel and preserved blackland prairie.

The campus anchors Apple's decade-long shift of operations, support, and engineering weight into Texas, where the Mac Pro is also assembled. If Apple Park is the company's face, North Austin is its second spine — the hub that keeps the Americas running and the clearest sign that Apple's employment map no longer ends at the California line.
