Regent Street brought Apple retail to Europe in 2004, in a listed building whose renovation set the pattern for Apple's architectural diplomacy: historic shells, stone and glass interiors, and a town-square pitch to planning authorities. Covent Garden's brick-and-atrium store followed as one of the world's largest.

Around forty stores blanket the UK — the densest Apple retail network in Europe — from Glasgow and Edinburgh to Belfast and Cardiff. Battersea Power Station (2023) closed the circle: a store inside the rebuilt landmark that also houses Apple's UK headquarters, making London one of the few cities with Apple as both anchor tenant and corporate neighbor.
