The Apple A19 and A19 Pro power the current iPhone 17 generation from September 2025. The generation's architectural turn is in the GPU: neural accelerators embedded in every graphics core, moving AI throughput into the shader pipeline — silicon built for local generative models — while the iPhone 17 Pro's vapor-chamber cooling lets the A19 Pro sustain peaks prior chips only touched.

Still current: the A19 family spans the $599 iPhone 17e to the 2 TB iPhone 17 Pro Max, shipping beside Apple's C1X modem and N1 networking chip — the first generation where every major radio and processor in an iPhone is Apple's own.
