The Value Pack is the closest thing Black Desert has to a subscription. The game is bought once rather than paid for monthly, and the pack is an optional purchase that runs for a fixed period and improves a long list of things at once.
Its reputation rests almost entirely on one of them. Without a pack a seller collects sixty-five percent of what an item fetches on the Central Market; with one, that rises to around eighty-five.
For anyone who sells regularly, that difference pays for the pack several times over, which is why the community treats it as effectively mandatory rather than optional. It is the clearest example of how the game monetizes convenience rather than power.

The tax reduction is the reason most people buy it, but the rest is substantial.
A pack adds sixteen inventory slots and sixteen storage slots, and raises the weight a character can carry by a hundred units, which matters because weight is a real constraint on trading and gathering. Experience gains rise by a tenth across combat, skills, life skills and horse training.
Several smaller conveniences come with it. Nodes can be invested in from a distance at a cost in energy rather than by traveling to each one, and both the appearance-dyeing palette and the beauty salon become unlimited.

Packs are sold in the Pearl Shop for real money in thirty and ninety day lengths. They can also be earned with loyalties, the currency the game hands out for logging in, though accumulating enough that way takes a considerable time.
