visionOS 26 is the third and current release of [[visionOS]], shipped September 15, 2025, joining the year-aligned numbering with a leap from 2 to 26. Widgets became spatial furniture — clocks, weather, and photos pinned persistently to real walls and shelves, still there tomorrow — while spatial scenes used generative AI to give ordinary photos explorable depth, Personas exited beta with striking fidelity, and PlayStation VR2 Sense controllers gained support, opening precision gaming.

Shared local experiences let two Vision Pros in one room watch or play together, and enterprise APIs widened the device's working niche.
