The iPad Pro is the [[iPad]]'s flagship and [[Apple]]'s favorite launch vehicle: the tablet that debuted the Apple Pencil, premiered the [[Apple M4]] before any [[Mac]] had it, and carried the [[Apple M5]] on launch day. The current 11- and 13-inch models pair Tandem OLED displays with Mac-class silicon in Apple's thinnest device.

The original 12.9-inch Pro (2015) introduced the Pencil and Smart Keyboard — the productivity thesis in hardware. The 2018 redesign set the modern template: all-screen, Face ID, USB-C. The [[Apple M1|M1]] Pro (2021) brought Mac silicon and mini-LED; 2024's [[Apple M4|M4]] generation delivered the Tandem OLED panels, a 5.1-mm body thinner than any Apple product before it, and the Pencil Pro; October 2025's [[Apple M5|M5]] refresh made the Pro one-third of the first M5 launch trio.
