Apple Cash is the money that lives in the iPhone: a stored balance in Wallet that friends send each other inside Messages — the Venmo built into the platform. Daily Cash from [[Apple Card]] lands on it, kids get allowance-managed accounts through Apple Cash Family, and since iOS 18's Tap to Cash, two iPhones held together move money with no phone number exchanged.

Apple Cash is deliberately boring infrastructure: U.S.-only, bank-partnered (Green Dot), and unmonetized in itself, existing so that no payment moment inside the ecosystem requires leaving it.
