Apple Campus — 1 Infinite Loop — was Apple's home for a quarter century: six numbered buildings on a looping private road whose address became the company's return label. The [[iPhone]], iPod, and the [[Mac]]'s renaissance were all designed here, and "Infinite Loop" doubled as the world's most famous programming joke on a street sign.

= Position =

When [[Apple Park]] opened in 2017 the headquarters moved a mile east, but Infinite Loop remains a working Apple campus — thousands of employees, and the company store where tourists buy the T-shirts that only exist there. In Apple lore it is the garage's successor: the buildings where the near-death company of the 1990s became the [[Apple silicon]] empire.
